The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the leading global standard for organic cotton. The standard incorporates both ecological and social criteria and guarantees that the cotton is organically grown without the use of genetically modified seeds or harmful chemicals. The standard also ensures traceability—from harvest to final product—by using transaction certificates for each step in the supply chain. All our products are GOTS certified and bear the label.
GRS
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is the world’s leading standard for recycled textiles. The standard applies to the entire supply chain and focuses on traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content, and labeling. All the recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and recycled nylon we use is GRS certified.
OEKO-TEX®
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world’s most recognized standards for testing textiles for the presence of harmful substances. Our certification confirms that BY ARP products do not contain chemical substances that are harmful to health and the environment. The certification also guarantees that our products comply with the EU REACH regulation. STANDARD 100 also prohibits certain potentially harmful substances, even if they are not yet legally banned.
